so.
after going to bed at 11pm tired and falling asleep for an hour, i woke up and tossed and turned for another SEVEN hours. i tried everything. (in no particular order)
- mediating
- reading a book
- reading a kindle
- reading law text book
- bike ride
- walk
- (i actually tried to stand on my hands)
- music
- internet
- phone
- wanking
- push ups
- sit ups
- writing essay
- reading essay
- listening to BBC world service chelsea v bayern munichen
- watching bayern v chelsea
- wanking again
- researching flights/busses to melbourne

i then watched the sun go up from my window wondering how unproductive this sunday is going to be. i did think about messaging a kind friend who offered that i go over to her place whenever i can’t sleep, but this was between the hours of 2-6am and she looked exhausted when i saw her yesterday for too brief a moment. so I’m happy i let her sleep.
